Delete Your Account

1. About this request

This page explains how to request deletion of your Macro Rides account and the personal data associated with it. Macro Rides is operated by CepatAntar Private Limited.

It applies to the Macro Rides passenger app (com.macrorides.user) and the Macro Ride Hero driver app (com.macrorides.driver).

2. How to request account deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Delete My Account”. Include the mobile number registered to your account in the body of the email.

• Step 1 — Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete My Account”
• Step 2 — State the registered mobile number for the account you want deleted
• Step 3 — We send a one-time verification code to that mobile number to confirm you own the account
• Step 4 — Once verified, we acknowledge your request within 7 working days
• Step 5 — Your account and associated data are deleted within 30 days of verification

3. Data that is deleted

On completion of a verified request, the following are permanently deleted from our active systems:

• Your name, mobile number, and email address
• Your account profile and login credentials
• Saved and recent addresses
• Location data collected during rides
• Ratings, reviews, and support conversations
• Device and app usage information linked to your account

4. Data that is retained, and for how long

A limited set of transaction records is retained after account deletion because Indian law requires it. These records are retained only for statutory compliance and are not used to contact you or to build a profile.

• Ride, invoice, and fare records — retained for up to 8 years, as required by the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable GST regulations
• Records subject to an ongoing dispute, safety investigation, or legal or regulatory proceeding — retained until that matter is closed
• Aggregated and anonymised trip statistics that cannot identify you — retained indefinitely

5. Deleting some data without closing your account

If you want specific data removed but wish to keep your account, email [email protected] describing what you want deleted. We will respond within 7 working days and tell you whether the request can be met without closing the account.
